MicroStrategy, a leading worldwide provider of business intelligence software, has announced the appointment of Patrick Elliott as Vice President of MicroStrategy Australia and New Zealand.

Elliott will be based in Sydney with responsibility for growing sales, services, and business development, and further strengthening MicroStrategy’s position in the Australian and New Zealand markets. Elliott has worked in the enterprise software business throughout Asia Pacific, Canada, and the US, and brings to MicroStrategy more than 19 years of sales, management, and field operations experience from SAP, Cognos, and Hyperion. “I am pleased to welcome Patrick Elliott to the management team,” said Terence Chan, President of MicroStrategy Asia Pacific & Japan. “Patrick is a strong leader with a proven track record of successes in the industry.
