Time for an Aussie mobile data revolution? E-mail

If only there was a simple way to spark a true data revolution. The iPhone 3G has been a step in the right direction, forcing carriers (bar Telstra) to offer hundreds of megabytes of data (or more) as part of the standard calling cap plan.

But we’ve got a long way to go until data is “unlimited” as is the case with the AT&T iPhone in the US for US $30 per month.

I’m sure there is a limit behind that unlimited claim. But it’s a powerful statement, and has users enjoying their phones, not worrying that the next data session could be the one to push them into sky high excess usage territory and the accompanying heart-stopping charges.

We need a mobile data revolution. Can you suggest any legal, peaceful way to achieve it?
