Wii MotionPlus, expect another lull in games E-mail

Until Nintendo understands the symbiotic relationship it needs to have with developers, this will be the cycle of things in the big 'N' world of gaming.  Nintendo are lucky, they have a popular product, and a loyal fan base, willing to wear this unique situation.

They are also lucky that the next nine months should see some innovative titles, using the current controller specifications, hitting the Wii library.  As such it is a different situation from that of the Wii launch, which featured a dearth of third party titles until the developer resources completed their shift to the platform.

But, Nintendo, it would do well to understand who your friends are.  We love your innovations, we just want to have choice in how to wield them.
