It’s also worth noting that the Cydia tool is an alternative installer to the Installer.app, which is being re-written to work on iPhone OS 2.0. All of the programs written for iPhone 1.1.4 won’t work on iPhone OS 2.0, and need to be re-written.

Some of the previously available Installer.app programs will never re-appear – they’ve migrated to the Apple’s own App Store, exclusively available on iPhone OS 2.0.

But others, such as the Nintendo NES emulator, and the icon hiding “poof” program, are already up on the Cydia installer, along with a host of developer tools, like Java, Ruby, a Mobile Terminal and more, with plenty more programs promised to come.

So, there you have it.

WinPwn 2.0 comes to Windows users at last.

The wait for iPhone OS 2.0.1 and its inevitable Pwning starts up once again!
