The WordPress site has the details, saying: “We’re live! WordPress for iPhone just launched on the App Store. Download it now and get to blogging. We’ll have more information about the project and how you can contribute soon. “If you run into issues while using the app, we’ve got a page for reporting them up now. Before you do, please check out a few frequently asked questions. The FAQ lists 7 questions, and 6 known issues, but given this is a 1.0 app they're not doubt being worked on and will be fixed in a future version or versions. The App Store description of the new WordPress app is as follows: “Robust but simple to use, the WordPress for iPhone Open Source application allows you to create and edit content on your WordPress blog(s) with support for offline use. The app includes the following feaures: - Support for WordPress.com blogs and self-installed WordPress blogs (version 2.5.1 and higher) - Embedded Safari for true previews of posts - Full support for tags and categories - Photo support for both camera pics and library photos - Support for multiple blogs - Ability to password protect a post, save as draft, or mark for later review - Auto-recovery feature recovers posts interrupted by phone calls “Visit [the iPhone WordPress blog] for more information, video how-tos and FAQs.” The app is only available in English for now, is free to download and is 0.3mb in size. Blog on!
