August 22 sees 20 more countries go iPhone 3G! E-mail

This is actually quite annoying, but given the fact it’s a “two point zero” launch, it’s not surprising that there are bugs still to be swatted.

Indeed, updates for App Store programs have become available since the App Store’s launch, some of which by themselves might improve stability.

Of course the expectation is that an “iPhone OS 2.0.1” would re-lock the operating system, causing anyone that has used the iPhone Dev Team’s PwnageTool 2.0.1 hack for the Mac or has used the workaround to get Windows-using iPhone owners onboard the OS 2.0 train, to have to wait until any new unlock and/or jailbreak is released.

So... the waiting game continues for 48 countries that are yet to get the iPhone, and even once that happens, the need to wait for a new iPhone Dev Team to re-crack their hack attack will very likely come back!
