All three Australian telcos selling the iPhone 3G have come in for criticism regarding their plans, particularly when it comes to the monthly data allowance.

Telstra and Vodafone in for particular have suffered the wrath of angry consumers frustrated at the fact the telcos waited until the last minute before announcing details of their plans.

Telstra iPhone 3G buyers arriving at 6am are unlikely to know the available data allowance until they get to the counter.

The iPhone 3G ships with headphones featuring a built-in microphone, as well as a power adaptor, plug and USB cable.

Because of the plug used in Australia that needs to be attached to the power pack, it's clearly not as small as the one available in the US.

As suspected, the iPhone 3G doesn't ship with docking cradle, and we can confirm the iPhone 3G doesn't fit in the docking cradle supplied with the original iPhone.
