Own a MOTO Q9 but tempted by BlackBerry services? Now you don't have to choose one or the other.

Starting today, BlackBerry Connect 4.0 is available for Australian MOTO Q9h owners, bringing push email and access to certain corporate applications to Motorola's handset.

The software works with BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Professional Software, including integration with Lotus Domino, Exchange and GroupWise.

BlackBerry Connect also works with the BlackBerry Internet Service.

A BlackBerry service plan is required in order to make use of the software.

"BlackBerry Connect software addresses many of our customers’ needs and will add tremendous value to the existing MOTO Q offering," said Andrew Volard, managing director of Motorola South Pacific.

The free software can be downloaded from Motorola's web site, and the handset is available from Optus or Vodafone.
