But design apart, it is the specification that Acer hopes will provide the biggest talking point when this hardware hits the reviewers labs. The G24 includes Acer Adaptive Contrast Management (ACM) which, according to Acer, produces "dramatic improvement in gradation and detail, especially for dimmer and brighter scenes" as well as using less power.

This is complimented by Acer OD (overdrive) technology to significantly improve gray-to-gray levels by reducing deviation in transition time to 2ms. Not forgetting the Acer CrystalBrite technology with 400-nit brightness for more vibrant images using backlit diffusion reduction.

The G24 has been optimized for use with Windows Vista, and supports one 1080p HDMI device with HDCP support. The viewing angle is 176 degrees and you get 94.1 pixels per inch (PPI) for your money.
