Page 1 of 3 ClearMyMail is an anti-spam service with a difference, it guarantees to be 100 percent effective against spam. The effectiveness or otherwise of that claim, while interesting in and of itself, is not what has caught my attention today. A survey that reveals the most spammed individuals in the UK has. The gap between the 5th placed user on 3,982 spams blocked per day, and the top placed guy with 44,001 is just huge. I do not any individual who gets that much spam. Heck, I have been active online for 20 years, with a well known email address that gets published in print, in blogs, in forums and I only get a small fraction of that amount. Come on, that is 1,338,363 pieces of spam every month or 16,060,365 junk email messages going to this one chap every year! This chap is clearly doing something wrong when it comes to safe surfing. More interesting, though, is the small matter of Internet service provision as it relates to the list. While it is impossible to draw any meaningful conclusions from the fact that three out of the five most spammed individuals use Orange as their ISP without analysing all the data, it sure is intriguing that the same ISP should crop up so much.
