Samsung i780 Windows Mobile beats iPhone and HTC Diamond for business?

Page 1 of 2 ! Never mind the iPhone or the HTC Touch Diamond, Samsung reckons it's new i780 mobile phone is what business users need. Insofar as any one phone can suit the needs of such a diverse group, it just might be right. There's a QWERTY keyboard, much to the delight of heavy text users that prefer to press a button once rather than two or three times. And when you'd rather not use buttons at all, there's an 'optical mouse' and a touchscreen. Windows Mobile 6? We'll skip the jokes, and refer you to the list of features - some of which are admittedly optional extras - such as push email from Exchange, SharePoint and Windows Live integration, copy and paste (chalk another one up for the iPhone haters), Java, and Office compatibility. Simple Internet sharing via USB 2.0 or Bluetooth 2.0 EDR is also a plus when you need to get your notebook online without requiring a dongle or add-on card. Just make sure you know what your carrier is going to charge in these circumstances. It's a 3G, HSDPA 3.6Mbps device, so data communications should be snappy enough for most purposes. Other features include GPS with Google Maps, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), a 2 megapixel camera, MP3/AAC/WMA player, call recording, video recording and playback, and a microSD card slot.
