According to Johnson, over half the floor space and half the store's 125 employees are dedicated to service. "We believe that retail stores should not be about finding out if you want to buy a product They should be about the relationship you have after your buy."

In addition to the Genius Bar which offers free advice (you have to pre-book an appointment) the top floor has two other training areas: for workshops and personal training through Apple's One to One scheme. Customers pay $129 per year and can have a one- hour personal training session every week. According to Johnson, the store has the ability to deliver 1000 personal training session per day.

The store, at 357 George Street will be open from 8.00am to 8.00pm daily expect on Thursday, 8:00pm to 9:00 pm, and Sunday 10:00am to 6:00pm. The Genius Bar will be open 7 to 9, 7 to 10 Thursdays and 9 to 7 on Sundays.
