5 Best Practices for Smartphone Support
If any of this eventuates mid year, what will Nintendo do? It all hinges around the price of the Xbox 360 Arcade and standard models. If it becomes viable to grab a 20GB harddrive equipped model for the price of a Wii, surely this introduces a major choice to the game console shopper? There are many things that separate one console from the other; storage, game library, backwards compatibility, online experience, innovation, non-game features and so on. But price is always extremely high on the consumer agenda. Could such competition tip the Wigs at Nintendo to finally drop the price of the Wii? I doubt it, not short term at least. Despite the paragraph above, the Wii still has enough separation from the competition with the Wii-mote innovation and sales chart destroying games such as Wii-Fit, Super Smash Bros Brawl and Mario Kart to keep the momentum going for a long time yet. |
