Anyone planning to host a Mozilla Party on the actual Firefox 3 launch day now also knows which date to target.” So, Firefox 3 is nearly ready to rock. If you’re a Mac OS X user of Firefox 3 RC2 or any earlier version, you should upgrade to the latest RC3 version, and then upgrade again on June 17. While an RC3 version of Firefox 3 is also being made available for Windows and Linux Firefox 3 RC2 users, they are “exactly the same” code as RC2, so there’s no need to upgrade until the final code is released.
