SAP has appointed of Stuart Pike as director of its go-to-market strategy in Australian and New Zealand.

"SAP has trusted business relationships within industries like mining for example, where we provide more than 80 per cent of the Australian mining industry with software solutions," said Pike.

"We are now looking to expand our presence in this industry vertical, by engaging with logistics carriers and other organisations that are part of the mining supply chain."

Pike was most recently vice president and managing director for ANZ at Ingres. He previously held senior country and regional positions at Oracle, and has also worked for Barclays Bank and Qantas.
