The actual Australian price of $A119 doesn't represent that big a premium, and is most likely there mainly as a buffer against exchange rate fluctuations - the Aussie is relatively strong against the greenback at present. Similarly, the $US149 family pack converts to $173 with GST, and the actual price is $A179. So this time it's hard to claim Apple isn't doing the right thing, at least by Australian customers.
