Adelaide based m.Net Corporation, which describes itself as a "mobile services enabler" has appointed Seven Network's head of digital media, Rohan Lund, to its board. At Seven he oversees online, mobile and digital television interests for Seven and Pacific Magazines and is head of strategy and investments across the Seven Group. According to m.Net the appointment signals Seven's increasing interest in mobile services and content. It follows the announcement at the end of July that Seven would take a "major" (but unquantified) equity stake in m.Net. Seven's investment was billed as part of a partnership under which m.Net would provide mobile content services for Seven Pacific Magazines. Lund was previously director of corporate development and strategy for SingTel Optus. His co-directors include representatives of m.Net's other major shareholders: Holly Kramer, managing director of Telstra Wireless Products, and Alcatel CEO Andrew Young.
