Pretty amazing! iDisk is online too – share files easily, and have everything in sync. “An incredible new experience for information like Apple Exchange for the rest of us”. It’s coming in July and will have a 60 day free trial, so it won’t be free and it “replaces .Mac” and upgrades all the .Mac stuff you have. $99 per year. After this Steve Jobs went on stage to talk about the iPhone, which you’ve already read if you’ve come this far. So, all up – a great slew of additions from Enterprise support to cool new apps and hundreds if not thousands and more to come, and great new iPhone 3G features and pricing – while leaving a number of features out that are surely being saved for the NEXT iPhone... sigh. Hahah :-) iPhone. If it really is only US $199, and less than AUD $250, I’ll bet you’ll be getting one! I will... although my 2G iPhone will certainly rock with the upcoming iPhone 2.0 software, although whether it will let me plug in a Vodafone or Optus SIM is yet to be seen, and no doubt the hackers will be salivating at the prospect of getting their hands on an iPhone 3G from June 11 to hack away! |
