Hosting provider BlueCentral has made four new appointments to its senior management ranks.

Ross Dour is the new CIO. He previously worked as a senior consultant at a governance, risk and compliance firm.

Simon Foster has been appointed as the services director. His career includes spells as vice president of technical services for EMEA and Asia Pacific at Double Click, and director of advertising technology services at Lycos Europe.

The new general manager - hosting and SaaS products is James Leitch, who previously worked with IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Fujitsu-Siemens and Microsoft.

Manjula Kularathne, general manager - security products joins the company with a resume that includes security architect/manager at SOUL Converged Communications and head of the network security infrastructure division at Dialog Telekom.

"I look forward to the contributions that Ross, Simon, James and Manjula will make towards building and growing BlueCentral's business," said managing director Anthony Banek.

BlueCentral was formerly known as Destra Hosting. The name was changed in April 2007 following its acquisition from Destra by BlueFreeway.

Destra was in the news recently when former CEO Dominic Carosa lost control of over 10 million shares in the company following the collapse of stockbroker Opes Prime.
