Kia Motors Australia selects Elcom's TrainingManager.NET to manage national dealer network E-mail
Monday, 02 June 2008
Image Kia Motors Australia has selected Australian founded and owned, Elcom Technology and its TrainingManager.NET, a new innovative Learning Management System (LMS) to manage training administration for the Kia Motors Australia national dealer network.

With the huge growth in the automotive industry, and the ever expanding network of Kia Motors Dealers, Kia realised the importance of effectively and simply managing the training of its dealers. This was important to ensure the consistency throughout the organisation so that the administration tasks of managing the dealer network could be reduced.

Kia Motors Australia required a system that would decentralise the management of training for the dealers but still allow easy and quick reporting of the overall training of Kia dealers.

Kia Motors Australia engaged Elcom Technology to provide a solution that would meet all the training management requirements of the expanding national dealer network. As a result, Kia Motors Australia implemented Elcom Technology’s TrainingManager.NET.

According to John Anstey, Elcom Technology’s CEO, “it is important that organisations can manage training simply and effectively.” Accordingly, TrainingManager.NET is an easy to use system developed by Elcom Technology that empowers trainees and employees to book their own training as well as plan and manage their training requirements online.

Mr Anstey said that TrainingManager.NET “allows easy and quick reporting to management about your organisations training. The system empowers staff thereby reducing the workload and administrative overheads for Human Resource Managers.”

Elcom Technology, one of Australia’s leading and most prolific web application development companies launched ‘TrainingManager.NET’, its new innovative Learning Management System (LMS) on Thursday 29 May 2008 at the NSW Trade and Investment Centre, Sydney.

Darren Carver, National Service Manager and Leanne Nicolai, Sales & Training Development Representative at Kia Motors Australia presented a case study on Kia Motors Australia’s recent implementation of TrainingManager.NET and the resulting benefits. Dr Denise Meyerson, Director of Management Consultancy International discussed the importance of effectively managing training in an organisation.
