Review: Grand Theft Auto IV – This game should be banned! E-mail

No, GTA IV needs to be banned due to the sum of all its parts.  GTA IV is a masterpiece of programming, design and story telling.  It can be frustrating, titillating, exciting, thought provoking and awe inspiring in its detail.  Therefore, it has a tendency to take over a real-life.  We have not even touched on the new multiplayer aspects of the game, now topping Call of Duty 4 as the most popular online game on Xbox LIVE.  Nor have we spoken about the promised extra content to be available for the Xbox 360 version.

This game should be banned for the real family break ups it could cause, as GTA IV sucks up each hour, more withdrawn from society the player will become.  It was bad enough being drawn away to write this review!

So play at your own peril, believe the hype, GTA IV is a deep detailed adult game, exploring the dark hopeless view of modern lifestyle, with flashes of human hilarity that will have you exploring each nook and especially the crannies of this wonderfully constructed world.
