Carbonite to Demo World Leading Online Backup Service at CeBIT for First Time PDF E-mail
Monday, 19 May 2008
Carbonite Australia can be found on stand P50 in the IT Security Expo at CeBIT. Peter Cameron, Managing Director will be available on the stand to talk to media about the product’s easy to use protection for valuable photos, financial data and music, as well as a highly cost effective investment of less than $6 a month for your personal PC data protection. Carbonite Online PCBackup is not only the simplest and most affordable backup service on the market today, but its advanced “set and forget” capabilities mean users never have to think about manual backups again. Carbonite installs with just a few clicks and runs continually in the background, encrypting and securely backing up all new and changed files in a secure, offsite location whenever the PC is connected to the Internet. Storage capacity is unlimited and it’s easy to recover your files if anything ever happens to the computer.

The latest version of Carbonite even includes a wizard to help users migrate files from an older computer to a new system. The wizard simplifies the process of uploading files onto the new machine, easing even complex restores such as uploading files from the Windows XP file structure onto the radically different Windows Vista operating system.

Australian PC users can purchase a one year subscription to Carbonite Online PCBackup for just A$59.95 (including GST) or a two year subscription for A$109.95 (including GST).
About Carbonite Carbonite launched its Online PCBackup™ service in May 2006. Carbonite’s industry-first offer of unlimited backup space for a flat low price revolutionised the market for consumer and small business backup services. So far the company has backed up over 2 billion files, has restored more than 200 million lost files for its customers. Carbonite has a large data centre where capacity is measured in petabytes. There are Carbonite users in over 100 countries.

Founded in 2005, Carbonite believes that computer users should not have to think about backup. The company's mission is to provide an affordable, reliable, secure and easy-to-use solution for the mainstream computer user. For more information, please visit www.carbonite.com.
