Page 2 of 2 Nor do I think the flurry of activity among carriers annoucing they will be selling the iPhone later this year is over. My view is that Apple will get all its ducks in a row before the 3G iPhone actually goes on sale, and I expect a practically worldwide release date to cut down on the grey marketing that we've seen with the original model.
The Mk 1 iPhone was just a test run. My predictions are that Apple is preparing for a 3G blitz that will comfortably take sales over the 10 million figure, and that we're about to see a minor update just to maintain interest in those markets where the iPhone is already available until the real new model ships.
