Game changing Eee PC 900 to make Australian debut end of May E-mail

For $599 or $649, depending on whether you want the Windows or Linux model of the Eee PC 900, no-one is going to complain about the price.

However, now that a Windows model is available it will be interesting to see how well the Linux version sells. Will the fact that popular applications like iTunes and Quicken are only available on Windows, while other applications like Skype are more advanced on Windows, slow what were previously phenomenal Linux sales when there was no Windows Eee PC? regardless of the additional storage, do Linux advocates have a justifiable complaint that the Linux model is more expensive than the Windows version?

Whatever happens, the arrival of the Eee PC 900 is a sub-notebook game changer - and it's about time.
