Security software specialist AVG (AU/NZ) has reorganised its channel management team with a pair of promotions and a new hire.

Tim Dawson has been promoted from channel manager to business innovation manager.

James Caldwell, previously a channel account manager, has been promoted to Dawson's former role of channel manager.

Michael Chapman, a recent business graduate of Monash University, has been hired as a reseller account manager.

"AVG is committed to setting the standard for quality service in the distribution channel. These appointments are designed to ensure we have the resources and structures in place to deliver that benchmark," said managing director Peter Cameron.

"We also pride ourselves on being an employer of choice that aims to differentiate high performers and reward them with new opportunities for growth and career development," he added.
