Rock Band Track Pack Volume 1 due for Wii and PS2 E-mail

Electronic Arts and Harmonix have announced their plans for the first add on to the popular Rock Band.  The Track Pack Volume 1 features 20 new tracks to belt out with your mates on the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2.   Details herein.

Due for release on July 15th (at least in the lucky lands of North America) for US$29.99 the Rock Band Track Pack Volume 1 features a reasonably eclectic mix of classic and current tracks from groups such as Boston, Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots, and All American Rejects.

From June 22nd 2008 Wii owners can join PS2, PS3 and Xbox 360 fans in living the Rock Band dream.

The Rock Band Track Pack Volume 1 will be available on disc for the Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation 2.

For PS3 and Xbox 360 owners Harmonix and EA promise that the Track Pack content will be available for download though no prices for the DLC are currently available.
