To send your name onboard the LRO mission to the Moon, go to the NASA website: “Join NASA’s Return to the Moon.”

The website states that, “You will also receive a certificate showcasing your support of the mission.”

You can also go to the NASA website “Send Your Name to the Moon Aboard LRO!” to learn more about NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter’s mission.

The website also has the website (as stated above) where you need to go to sign up your name.

Cathy Peddie—who is the deputy project manager for LRO at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland—states, “Everyone who sends their name to the moon, like I'm doing, becomes part of the next wave of lunar explorers. The LRO mission is the first step in NASA's plans to return humans to the moon by 2020, and your name can reach there first. How cool is that?"

Just so you know, I (William Atkins) did sign up my Name, and it was an easy process.

I submitted my name on May 1, 2008, and I have certificate number 446400, which I assume means I’m the 446,400th person to submit my name.
