The idea is that there is synergy in linkiing Centennial's asset management software with FrontRange's help desk product - if you don't know what's installed, it's hard to manage it. FrontRange CEO Michael McCloskey said "the acquisition is entirely logical and provides an ideal outcome for both companies." The value of the transaction has not been disclosed. The acquisition was carried out by FrontRange purchasing all of Centennial's issued shares. FrontRange's current product line includes Heat (help desk), ITSM (IT service management for SMEs), Voice (communications management), Enteo (IT client lifecycle management) and GoldMine (CRM). Centennial's lineup includes software for hardware and software discovery, licence management, and to prevent the use of portable storage devices. The company's high-profile clients in Australia include AOL7, NAB, Flight Centre, IAG and HCF.
