There are some technical niggles such as – without a jump option – having your path blocked by items such as the smallest box can be frustrating.  Add a small number of clipping and physics processing issues and that pretty much raps up the negatives.

You could also argue that gun-play in this game is an unnecessary addition, luckily ammo is at a premium so the guns are rarely around for long.

Apart from the (* cough *) difficult single player campaign, Condemned 2: Bloodshot has an arena style option called Bloodshot Fight Club as well as a pretty standard series of multiplayer deathmatch and capture the flag options.condemned21.jpg

All up Condemned 2:Bloodshot serves up the scares and violence in underpants destroying doses, avoid playing with headphones on in a darkened room with practical joking family members nearby ready to sneak up on you.

Oh, and if you feel you have been altered by the experience, head on over to Sega's own offsettheevil website to return some positive Zen.
