GTA IV leaked E-mail

Reports have been seeping in that Grand Theft Auto IV, due for release on April 29th has already hit the internet in both PAL and NTSC formats.

A couple of reports of the availability of GTA IV code have come to light.  First Team Xbox ran a story that the warez group iCon have snaffled a 6.32 GB copy of the PAL version.

iCon were nice enough to warn potential downloaders that the game should not be run on Xbox Live as it will be detected by Microsoft and RockStar (GTA IV's developer).  Detection would result in having the players gamertag banned from the online service.

The warez group also reportedly suggested fans go and buy the game anyway: "guys, seriously, go and buy this one", the said.

Next up, a MaxConsole reader has mentioned to the gaming website that the NTSC version has also hit the web (once again the Xbox 360 version).

"Just wanted to let you guys know that the NTSC version of Grand Theft Auto 4 was leaked on the internet around 5 am EST this morning. It is confirmed working on modded US 360's.", the reader said.
