March has seen the Xbox 360 sneak back ahead of the PS3 in the U.S. Shifting 262,000 units put the Xbox 360 marginally in advance of the 257,000 PS3 but none can compare to the continuing might of the Nintendo Wii which out sold the combined efforts of its more fancied competitors by entering 721,000 U.S households during March There is of course light at the end of this sales tragedy for both Microsoft and Sony with the impending release of Grand Theft Auto IV on the Xbox 360 and PS3.
