The site now features a user-customisable home page, the ability to attach one or more pre-defined tags to any content on the site and to save it for future reference. RSS feeds are more customisable and the new site makes much more extensive use of video. The revamping of the site also marks the return as blogger of its former editor, Telstra PR executive Rod Bruem with all out attack on Opus under the headline "failure thy name is Optus. "
