After a two-week hiatus for a major refurbishment, content updates will resume on Sony's Playstation Store tomorrow, April 15.

Sony promises a "hugely improved" navigation system and "a dynamic new user interface".

A rash of new content is scheduled for release two days later, including the Metal Gear Online Premiere beta, Metal Gear Solid: Guns of the Patriots, Warhawk: Operation Broken Mirror, Lair: Diabolical Dragons Pack, the Skyguard Upgrade pack, new trailers including the latest for GTA IV, and a Sega Superstars tennis demo.

The changes to the Playstation Store have their roots in a user survey carried out during 2007. According to company officials, feedback has been received from millions of users in countries covered by the PAL version of the PS3.
