The bad news is that the release of RDC 2 has now been delayed until sometime during the northern summer rather than May as previously expected. But every cloud has a silver lining - Microsoft was planning to remove the ability to launch an RDC session by double-clicking on a corresponding document in order to meet the previous schedule, but user feedback has reversed that decision. It seems people find it just too useful to give up. According to Liu, other improvements include full help, plus localisation for Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Swedish.
