Cornered! is a blog devoted, most of the time anyway, to telecommunications: local and global issues, technology, people and trends from the perspective of someone who's been reporting, analysing and commenting on the industry since the dark ages (BC - before competition). Sometimes serious, sometimes flippant, sometimes frivolous. Controversial, analytical, informative, amusing, but never boring; a vehicle for examinations of important issues and observations on my encounters and experiences in an industry where polarised views and hyperbole are the norm.

Page 2 of 2 According to reports, Tube will have Java built in as standard, is likely to include support for the DVB-H mobile TV standard for Europe and will have either built-in WiFi or HSDPA connectivity or both, and possibly GPS. It will, of course be touch screen based using a new version of the S60 platform. The way to maximise this will be to ensure that just sufficient juicy snippets get out to keep interest high without too much detail being revealed, and just as importantly not to be seen to giving much away. The official statements from Libretto on the Tube might be the last for some time. The source of the next tidbit is likely to me much more obscure.
