The SOUL network has successfully evolved over the last five years to meet and exceed increasingly complex customer solutions for clients both large and small. Reaching over 98% of the Australian population, the networkis second only to Telstra's in its regional reach and capacity. Its Cisco basedInternet Protocol (IP) technology, with no inherited infrastructure, hasenabled enhanced flexibility and innovation for its extensive range ofconsumer, corporate and government clients. Successful projects include thedesign, construction and management of a dedicated Voice, Video and Data networkfor the NSW Government. It also transmits programmes for the WIN and Primetelevision networks Australia-wide as well as providing services for Fairfaxand Centrelink. The Cisco finding follows the recentGartner report on "MPLS services in Australia" which ranked thenetwork as number two in service delivery in a study of all MPLS providers. The two studies are convincingevidence that Soul is committed to delivering highly available, stable servicesfor its customers.
