Page 2 of 2 According to Liu, the workaround is to click the "Continue Using Beta" button in the "out of date" dialog, and then use File>Open to select the desired connection file.
"This will launch a second RDC session that comes with its own beta expiration dialog, but you will be able to use your saved settings from the connection file after dismissing the second beta dialog," he explained.
