The second beta release of Apple's iPhone SDK (software development kit) includes Interface Builder, a key component for the construction of iPhone applications.

The first release of the eagerly anticipated iPhone SDK appeared earlier this month.

Freeway 5

Freeway 5 ($US249) adds a range of new features to Softpress Systems' web design application. including CSS menus, Google Actions, accessibility provisions, and additional effects.

The cut-down Freeway Express ($US79) has also been updated; both programs are available for 30-day free trial.

Sandvox 1.2.7

Sandvox 1.2.7 from Karelia Software primarily delivers bug fixes and performance improvements, for example in the areas of WMV support and the media browser. Support for A2 hosting has been added.

Version 1.2.7 is a free update for existing owners, or $US49 (Regular) and $US79 (Pro, includes support for custom HTML, Google webmaster tools, Flash and more). A trial version is available.

Software Watch highlights new and updated Mac software that I think is interesting, useful or otherwise significant. It makes no recommendations - its purpose is merely to provide pointers for people who share my interests.
