According to Google, the new headquarters, in the under-construction Workplace6 in Pyrmont, will be "a campus-style and world-class work environment for Australian 'Googlers'." The company claims that "Workplace6 is NSW's first six star Green Star building, going above and beyond green office standards for Australia." Karim Temsamani, general manager - Google Australia & New Zealand said the company had grown rapidly over the past few years and now employs over 200 people. "We are growing very fast...and we want to hire as many good people as we can find." He declined to be drawn on the capacity of the new centre, or on expected employee numbers and would say only that he expected it to meet the company's needs "for years to come". Google was found to be Australian University graduates' number on employer of choice in a February 2008 poll of 3303 graduates by online employment site, CareerOne.com.au, in partnership with CoreData.
