When you are on a good thing stick to it.  For social and party game games for the kids it is hard to go past the Buzz Junior series.  This time around Dino Den brings a stone-age theme to the party.

There is not much to say about Dino Den, this is Sony milking the Buzz controllers - first introduced with the Buzz series of quiz games for the PS2- to the nth degree.

In a very similar way to the previous titles, RoboJam , Jungle Party and Monster Rumble this time the kids are greeted with 35 mini games requiring timing or quick hitting of the appropriate coloured button or red buzzer.

There are some more interesting diversions from button mashing such as the simply painting game where players must roll around in paint trying to cover as much of the floor as possible.  Then there  is the funny, tickle the dinosaur's nose whilst it is asleep game, but for the most part each mini-game is similar.

This is not such a bad thing given the target audience of youngsters looking for a quick fire easy to access romp that they can master quickly, and then there are the 10 unique 2vs2 team games to add a small amount of flavour.

Since this is not a full priced title it could be argued that it is another reason to value the Buzz Controllers if you are gathering together a collection of Buzz style games.

Given in Australia we look like we won't be getting an R 18+ rating any-time soon , it would seem that this type of  light romp will be even more prevalent, so, better get used to it.
