The total lunar eclipse on February 20-21, 2008 seems to have been successful. I’ve collected photographs taken by backyard and professional astronomers. Enjoy!

Some folks had problems with the clouds.

Personally, it looked from central Illinois (United States) that the clouds were going to ruin the night. But, they stayed around (only in the western sky, the eastern sky was clear) for a small amount of time, and then disappeared.

I’ve tried to collect the best photographs from the Web. If you have others, please let me know and I’ll post them.
