MacBook and MacBook Pro owners that have experienced keyboard issues including the widely reported one that causes the first keystroke to be ignored following an idle period may be pleased to see this update from Apple.
The update is intended for the MacBook (Late 2006, Mid 2007 and Late 2007 models) and the MacBook Pro (17-inch Core 2 Duo, 15-inch Core 2 Duo, Mid 2007 2.4/2.2GHz and Late 2007 2.4/2.2GHz models), but since it requires Mac OS X 10.5.2, users experiencing the problem with 10.4 or on PowerBooks do not have an acceptable fix.
Software Watch highlights new and updated Mac software that I think is interesting, useful or otherwise significant. It makes no recommendations - its purpose is merely to provide pointers for people who share my interests.
