Picton said that: “All gotalk Naked DSL plans offer competitive value for money and come with the full speed of ADSL2+ and a free VoIP account. But our main point of difference is that we are the only telco in Australia offering a bundle offer with loads of free local, national and Australian mobile calls through our Award Winning Aussie VoIP Pack as well as a $100 mobile CAP. Gotalk’s ability to bundle this great VoIP service with its Naked DSL make its Communications Package unbeatable and the only plan of its kind in Australia”.

Picton continued that: “I believe we will see a significant take up of naked DSL plans in 2008 as there is an increasing number of people who use their mobile phone and don’t need the fixed phone - however of course they do need access to broadband. Naked DSL is obviously a cost effective solution offering access to broadband without having the expense of a telephone connection”.

All up, Gotalk’s plans do look appealing, especially to anyone who isn’t already on a contract and is free to change to whatever provider they want, and it’s great to see some real competition to Telstra – and ISPs who specifically offer naked DSL services (unlike Telstra), with the consumer the true winner.
