However at present BigPond seems to offering nothing more than a portal to the ShoppersAdvantage web site. Its shopping home page appears to be identical to that of ShoppersAdvantage : down to specials, prices and links to specific sections. BigPond does have one advantage: usage is unmetered for most BigPond broadband members. According to Milne, "customers will benefit from BigPond's expertise in secure online commerce, with access to a fully supported service centre, order tracking, 90 days insurance on your purchase, phone support and extended warranties." These services would all seem to be provided direct by ShoppersAdvantage: although the contact phone number on the BigPond site is different, the fax number and postal address are identical to those of Shoppers Advantage. |
