The first deliveries of the MacBook Air - the ultra-slim notebook announced by Apple at Macworld Expo earlier this month - have begun.
Some buyers who placed orders on the day the MacBook Air was announced have reported being notified that their new computers have been dispatched, with delivery expected on Friday February 1.
But it seems the new model is in short supply, as the online Apple Stores in the US and Australia are still quoting 2-3 week shipping times for new orders.
