Here they come again, the popular but somewhat maligned download packs for the Guitar Hero franchise.  This time around Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock gets a Classic Rock Track Pack.

It is addictive fun, and once you beat all the tracks on the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock disc (not that I have), it is natural that the mind turns to other music and how it might translate to the game.

In a bid to sate this appetite for riffs, Activision have announced downloadable content for PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.

The Classic Rock Track Pack includes master recordings of Boston's "Piece of Mind," Foreigner's "Juke Box Hero" and Journey's "Any Way You Want It."

Available now on the Xbox 360 Live Marketplace for 500 points, and soon on the PlayStation store
