Information management and business intelligence specialist Altis Consulting has appointed Tony Taylor as its senior consultant in Canberra.

He was most recently data warehouse architect and business intelligence developer for the Child Support Agency, following a stint as data mart analyst and developer for the Office of Indigenous Policy Coordination.

He has previously worked for Cognos, ING, Commonwealth Bank, Centrelink, Department of Education, Science and Training, and the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.

Taylor holds a Bachelor of Business in Computing from Queensland University of Technology.

"Tony brings a wealth of experience consulting to federal government departments," said general manager John Hoffman. "His understanding of how government departments manage their data warehousing and business intelligence infrastructure will be invaluable to us as we grow our business in the sector."
