! Microsoft has appointed Tony Scott as its new chief information officer and corporate vice president. He will take up the role in February. In turn, this will ultimately improve our customer satisfaction in the marketplace. "Third, we will call upon Tony to connect and collaborate with CIOs around the world to regularly share best practices with our customers and partners." Scott most recently was senior vice president and CIO at The Walt Disney Company. His previous senior positions include chief technology officer at General Motors and vice president of operations at Bristol-Meyers Squibb.
