5 Best Practices for Smartphone Support
There’s also copy and paste, drag and drop, larger screen models in both screen size, an infrared transmitter to convert the iPhone into a universal remote control, a clippable wireless Bluetooth remote for the phone (with FM radio tuner) which lets you plug in any 3.5mm headphones to control music and answer calls. Having a screen that vibrates when you touch it, and can also have its on-screen keys pressable not just by fingertips but fingernails as well, as with many other smartphones – yet figuring out how to keep multitouch working as well. Basic photo editing controls would be interesting, as would basic video editing controls for any future video editing application. Being able to upload that video to YouTube or other video sharing sites right from the phone is just a question of software, with other phones already possessing the ability to edit recorded video and upload to video sharing sites is something Nokia NSeries owners can do, with the software built into the phone. LG’s new Viewty also offers the ability to upload short videos to YouTube with a few presses of its vibrating touch screen. Apple could easily add features such as video recording software, photo and video editing software, some kind of ultra-simple method to ‘copy and paste’ information if desired, A2DP Bluetooth support, easy upload to video sharing sites or just YouTube with whom it already has an on-the-phone relationship all through a new firmware update. That’s by no means the entire list, I’m sure there are many more interesting ideas on iPhone wishlists out there. Still, you don’t need to wait for a future iPhone to arrive to enjoy a range of upgraded features today, as all the software and now hardware for the iPhone is demonstrating – but what a glimpse of the not-too-distant future it is! |
