Google Toolbar gets Gadgets E-mail

Google Toolbar 5 provides another way of accessing Google Gadgets.

Just out as a beta release, Google Toolbar 5 allows gadgets to read selected content from the displayed web page, simplifying interaction for the user.

For example, selecting any product name on a web page and clicking the Google Product Search gadget will return a list of matching results from the company's product search offering.

Other changes include improvements to the auto-fill feature, the ability to save Toolbar settings in a Google account so they are accessible form any computer, a notebook to store text and images clipped from web pages, and suggested links when missing pages or sites are encountered.

Google Toolbar 5 beta is only available for Internet Explorer, and in includes full keyboard access and support fro Windows accessibility APIs.
